The brand, created by Jesse Bongiovi and Jon Bon Jovi with winemaker Gérard Bertrand, is noted for critical ratings and social engagement; Princess said the addition expands celebrity-crafted, premium beverage options across ships to enhance the onboard guest experience.

Princess Cruises (Carnival NYSE:CCL) celebrated the naming of its newest ship, Star Princess, on Nov 7, 2025 in Fort Lauderdale. Godparents Camila and Matthew McConaughey broke a bottle of their Pantalones Organic Tequila during a ceremony featuring remarks from Princess President Gus Antorcha, Captain Gennaro Arma, a live performance by Sheryl Crow, and a drone show.

Star Princess is a 177,800-ton vessel with capacity for 4,300 guests. After a transatlantic voyage and a Caribbean season beginning Nov 7, 2025, the ship will transit the Panama Canal to Seattle for 7-day Alaska Inside Passage cruises in summer 2026. Holland America Line (CCL) unveiled its 2027–2028 South America and Antarctica cruise season, operating Nov 2027–Mar 2028 aboard Zuiderdam and Oosterdam. Itineraries run 14–31 days with embarkation in Buenos Aires, San Antonio (Santiago), Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
